A wide range of efficient polishing machines – single set-up or modular – using flexible diamond belts and/or discs are available in the market:

For all types of polishing stations, we can provide you with the right tooling. Next to these set-ups we offer a range of products for spot-repair, suitable for hand held machines and manual applications.
Porcelain Foot Polishing
KGS flexible diamond belts for foot polishing. The main application for the belts is radial and tangential polishing. The size of the belt is related to the machine set-up and the diameter of the foot. In our range you will find typical sizes like: 750 x 25 mm, 570 x 25 mm, 440 x 25 mm and 1600 x 8 mm. We offer also larger belts for rotary table polishing machines.
KGS Flexis® belts for porcelain. The combination of the dot pattern with the strong but flexible backing makes the KGS Flexis® belts ideal for polishing the foot and base of plates, bowls and cup rims. Delivers the right and expected finish.
KGS Telum® large discs work perfect on linear and rotary table polishing machines. Ideal for initial cleaning of the foot/base. The interlocked and connected pattern of KGS Telum® provide high and fast stock removal with a very long lifetime, ensuring consistent and constant performance.
Polishing, flattening and removing imperfections of larger bases
Large sized plates and bowls or even sanitary parts which would not fit automatic polishing lines are often polished at a separate flatbed belt grinder. We offer flexible diamond belts for these application, the belts for this set-up are generally 2000 mm in length and 300 mm in width. The interlocked and connected pattern of our KGS Telum® pattern with a very strong backer, provide the perfect grinding solution for heavier porcelain parts.
Large diamond discs for polishing, flattening and removing imperfections of larger bases. Awkward shapes and sizes, like large plates and bowls, cannot be processed often on the automatic lineair and rotary table polishing lines. For these shapes an off-line set-up (surface grinder) is used to polish the foot. With our KGS Flexis® and Telum® discs you will achieve smooth grinding surface.
KGS offers a full range of spiral belts, small discs and small belts for spot-repair of porcelain tableware. Compatible with almost every machine, including a wide range of accessories.
KGS diamond spiral belts are used for cleaning and polishing of porcelain sanitary ware. Ideal for curved and contoured surfaces. The diamond spiral belts remove uneven surfaces, ensures flatness providing an excellent base for fittings. Available in various sizes.
Small discs are perfect for the repair and refurbishment of minor faults on porcelain before re-glazing. The discs are available in diameter 25 and 30 mm. Get a better and smoother result with our small diamond discs!
KGS Flexis® narrow file belts with a flexible backer for the repair and refurbishment of minor faults before re-glazing. The diamond belts deliver top performance with accurate, consistent and perfect finish.
Diamond handpads and sheets are ideal tools for cleaning and polishing small and large shapes of tableware by hand.
KGS Telum® and Flexis® handpads a perfect solution for manual applications such as cleaning and polishing of porcelain plates, bowls and cups. In the porcelain industry our handpads are mainly used for removing imperfections.
Flexible diamond sheets for wet cleaning, finishing and polishing porcelain. We offer diamond sheets in two different patterns, both available with different backings. KGS Telum® sheets are more durable than the KGS Flexis® dot pattern sheets. The dot pattern has a more open structure which gives more flexibility and is ideal for contoured surfaces or hard to reach areas. Sheets can be cut into smaller sizes, according to the needs of the application.
Tuning up of refractories (ceramic) parts. Milling Robot Refractory Items.
KGS flexible diamond discs are ideal for cleaning and maintaining of (ceramic) refractories parts like batts, ring and plate setters and similar firing refractories. This process is a combination of a milling robot with a pneumatic cylinder which facilitates the positioning of the disc to the work and applying the contact pressure. KGS Telum® and KGS Flexis® discs with QRS backing, in coarse grits, are suitable for this job.
